My responsibilities developed from operational payment systems, through SAP and business application work, into backend product engineering and broader technical ownership.

Career / Responsibility

How my work changed over time

This timeline starts with my current role and traces back through the operational and engineering work that shaped how I work today.

  1. Current scope

    Head of Development

    VM Tech Sh.P.K

    May 2025–PresentTirana, Albania

I take broader technical ownership of product systems while staying directly involved in how their backends, integrations, deployments, and production behaviour work.

    • Define and review system behaviour, backend and API boundaries, and implementation work.
    • Guide integrations and deployment work while keeping production concerns part of delivery.
    • Investigate production failures, correct implementation problems, and remain technically accountable for the result.

  2. Business application development

    SAP ABAP Developer

    S-Systems Sh.A

    Sep 2021–Apr 2025Tirana, Albania

I worked on SAP and connected business applications, building a practical understanding of business rules, transactional workflows, and integration boundaries.

    • Built ABAP reports and dialog or module-pool applications using DDIC, function modules, and BAPIs.
    • Worked with MM-, SD-, and FI-related workflows and the application rules around them.
    • Developed business applications and application-side SAP integrations.
  3. Operational systems

    Pin Specialist

    PayLink Sh.A

    Jun 2018–Aug 2021Tirana, Albania

I started in payment operations, where software-driven processes met physical machinery and real transaction flows.

    • Generated and packaged secure PIN material.
    • Operated and maintained the related machinery.
    • Tested ATM and POS transaction flows.

Foundation / Education

A systems-oriented starting point

Mechatronics and robotics gave me the engineering foundation. My software path then developed through operational and business systems.

  1. 2017–2019

    Master's in Mechatronics Engineering (Robotics)

    Polytechnic University of Tirana

This extended my systems-oriented engineering foundation through robotics and the interaction between software, control, and physical behaviour.

  2. 2014–2017

    Bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering

    Polytechnic University of Tirana

This established my engineering foundation before I moved into operational systems and software applications.
